Sending Mahi on a Mission to Sirhind | Discussing Dharma With Rae Kala

After travelling several kilometres, the king of Jagrava has arrived in the sanctuary of the Guru to pay his respects, but Mahraaj moves forward to the village of Lamma with Rae Kala As uncertainty about the whereabouts and survival of the Guru are still in the air.

Upon reaching, the Guru instructs Rae Kala to travel to Sirhind and bring back news of Mata Gujari Ji and the young princes: Baba Jorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji. This task, however, must be done in secret and carried out by someone who can not be recognized by the enemy. A messenger is instructed on his travels and it is estimated he should return in two days time.

As we wait for the messenger’s return, conversations regarding the past few months arise. Mahraaj tells Rae Kala about the siege of Anandpur Sahib and the false promises and decepetions of the Turks.

Mahraaj listens to how Rae Kala has upheld dharma by acting against the tyrants who were slaughtering cows in neighbouring villages.
