Chapter 5
In the captivating heart of Anandpur, an event of profound significance is on the horizon. A monumental occasion draws closer, destined to be forever imprinted in the annals of history. The Guru's House is set to welcome Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the absolute embodiment of the Divine Akaal Purakh, as their Guru.
Stewarding this sacred ceremony is the noble Ram Kuir, an individual whose lineage trails back to the revered Baba Buddha Ji. Since time immemorial, the House of the Guru relies on the wisdom and guidance of the elders, with the lineage of Baba Buddha Ji held in the highest esteem. The sacred mark, the Tilak, bestowed upon the Guru's forehead during this hallowed ceremony, is a duty faithfully performed by the descendants of Baba Buddha Ji. The lineage is entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring the succession and preservation of the Guruship, their hands shaping the destiny of the faith.
Bhai Ram Kuir was three years old when his father, Baba Gurditta Ji, left his physical body. Carrying the weight of his ancestral responsibility, Ram Kuir embarks on a path of profound spirituality from a young age.
Through deep immersion in spirituality, Ram Kuir grows into a person of substantial wisdom and knowledge. Later in his life, he becomes one of the most respected Sikhs and finds himself amidst a whirlpool of historical narratives and spiritual and political discourses. It is believed that his profound insights give rise to a compilation known as 'Panj Sau Sakhi,' a collection of 500 historical narratives and prophecies. The Panj Sau Sakhi becomes the cornerstone for Kavi Santokh Singh Ji when crafting this granth (the Gurpratap Suraj).
Now, back in Anandpur, we see Mata Gujari Ji instructing the Sikhs and devotees to prepare for the auspicious event!
As the drums echo and conch shells sing in celebration, Anandpur is a city abuzz with joy and reverence. The Sangat's collective anticipation fills the air as Guru Gobind Singh Ji ascends the throne, preparing to assume the Guruship.
