Chapter 38
As the fight continues, the gods and goddesses of the heavens have come down to watch the battle of 40 against a million[s], but before doing so, they pay their respects and bow before Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Bhai Daya Singh continues to urge Maharaj to escape, but in response, Guru Ji laughs and taunts the enemy soldiers. Hearing the blessed words of Maharaj and watching the fellow Singh's fight in battle, the remaining Singhs gained more inspiration to fight and state, even if they were to be born 100 more times, they would never get the same opportunity to attain martyrdom as they are now. mohar singh, keerat singh, anand singh, kesera singh, and amolak singh enter the battlefield and Maharaj helps hold off the advancing enemy soldiers with the shooting of their gold-tipped arrows. Naahar Khan and Gairath Khaan advance forward but are both shot down by Maharaj arrows and Khvaja Mehmoodh, in fear, remains hidden behind a wall. During this time, Maharaj is now killing 5-10 enemy soldiers with a single arrow yet the command to advance is still in place by the mughal generals. Seeing this, the remaining Singhs, Including the two elder princes of Mahraj, are now ready to enter the battlefield themselves and attain martyrdom.
